Martha Gill here - just wanted to tell you all about the awesome day I recently had with Marin Chile.
I met up in the morning with Christian Obradors, from Marin Bikes Chile, and we headed to the most popular mountain biking destination in Santiago, El Durazno Bike Park. After being introduced to several customers and friends of Christians’, we headed out to hit the trails.
It was a gradual climb that takes roughly 45 minutes and was gruelling in the dry heat of the sun! We finally reached the top and had a well deserved rest. After a few photos we began the fun descent, I dropped in behind Christian, who was aboard his Wolfridge 8. The trail was a super fun and fast bike park track with many dusty flowing berms. We stopped to session one section of the descent that was packed with jumps. It was great to see so many people on Marin bikes, clearly all having fun whilst sprinting back up again and again to practice their jumping skills and whips! We continued the last bit of track back to the trail centre, stoke levels were high so we blasted a quick few laps of the pump track, which is part of a really cool skills area at El Durazno.
As we got back to the car park, Christian whipped out some posters of me I’d never seen before! I signed some for everyone who had been on the ride as well as some other people who were at the bike park. It was great to meet all these people who are so into riding and having fun as well as riding Marin bikes.
Thanks for the great day guys, cant wait to come back!
